Celebrate Vaisakhi!
Get ready to celebrate the beginning of a new year in the Sikh calendar! Last year at the Vaisakhi Festival, the streets of Surrey were filled with people. Starting at 128 Street and 85 Avenue again this year, you get to watch the parade while getting a taste of all kinds of free food, great music and Bhangra dancing. I know I’ll be there with a few friends. It’s definitely one of the most exciting events happening around town. Cross your fingers for a sunny day! The event is taking place on Saturday, April 7.
