A severe water shortage in Tofino is resulting in a request for all lodging and food service businesses to shut down effective September 1, 2006 until further notice.

Visitors with reservations are advised to contact their accommodation prior to travel to Tofino for latest updates. For assistance with reservations to other areas of British Columbia, call 1-800 HELLO BC (1-800-435-5622).
